When writing articles or blogs on sexual assault, domestic and family violence, we request that you include our tagline at the end of your piece. Reading about violence and abuse can be triggering. Including our tagline in your article allows those you are impacted by media coverage to know immediately who they can reach out to for support.
1800RESPECT is the national domestic, family and sexual violence counselling, information and support service.
If you or someone you know is experiencing, or at risk of experiencing, domestic, family or sexual violence, call 1800RESPECT on 1800 737 732 or visit 1800RESPECT.org.au. In an emergency, call 000.
We also highly recommend becoming familiar with and adhering to the Our Watch guidelines on reporting violence against women.
