1800RESPECT tagline

When writing articles or blogs on domestic, family and sexual violence, we request that you include our tagline at the end of your piece. Reading about violence and abuse can be triggering. Including our tagline in your article allows those you are impacted by media coverage to know immediately who they can reach out to for support.

We also highly recommend becoming familiar with and adhering to the Our Watch guidelines on reporting violence against women. You can also find reporting guidelines for media on sexual consent via the national Consent Can't Wait website.

Long tagline:

1800RESPECT is the national domestic, family, and sexual violence counselling, information and support service. If you or someone you know is experiencing, or at risk of experiencing, domestic, family or sexual violence, call 1800 737 732, text 0458 737 732 or visit www.1800RESPECT.org.au for online chat and video call services.

Short tagline:

If you or someone you know has experienced domestic, family and sexual violence, call 1800RESPECT on 1800 737 732, text 0458 737 732 or visit www.1800RESPECT.org.au for online chat and video call services.
